CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES: SUPPORT WORKERS
We’re currently recruiting Support Workers in Western and South Western Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to provide supports to NDIS participants and make a real difference, as well as being part of a team that values and supports you.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Be an encouraging, supportive, patient and caring person
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Criminal History Check
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (if supporting young people under 18 years)
- First aid certificate, or be prepared to undertake one
- A valid driver’s licence
- Roadworthy and comprehensively insured vehicle
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Current NSW Working with Children
- Experience providing care and supports for people with disability
- A suitable qualification or currently studying
YOU WILL...
- Provide a safe and secure environment
- Support participants as they transition into and out of our service
- Support participants to achieve their goals
- Be an advocate for the participant
- Have the necessary skills to manage complex behaviours and difficult situations according to the participant’s behaviour management plan
- Be available for shift work
- Have strong written and oral communication skills
- Be an effective team-player, with the ability to work autonomously
- Undertake ongoing training as identified
